I was wondering that as well. It seems we have a number of budding Aquamen among us.
I have changed my personal exploring ethics code. From now on it will be: "Take only aimed shots, leave only hobo corpses." Copper scrappers, meth heads and homeless beware. The Jonsered cometh among you, bringing fear and dread. |

How do I get my locations so they're all 100% accurate? With just a street address or do I need Lat/Long coordinates? Trying to get the Lat/Long coordinates has been a challenge in the past. Maybe I didn't know what I was doing?

| | | Well, for quite a while now, you've been able to simply click on the map and set the co-ordinates. This lets you get them as accurate as you want. -av

I'll just give it another shot and see what happens. Without having a GPS thingy I'll have to guess how far along the road an address is which creates room for error. Maybe I'll try MSN maps or something and cut/pastes the coordinates from there?

I went back and used the Google Map Help feature. I've got a few done with several more still to do. Where I am the satellite pics can't get in close enough to pinpoint a building. EDIT: Pinpoints are 100% accurate or as close as I can make them. [last edit 5/17/2006 7:59 PM by CowboyPenner - edited 2 times]

| | | hey Cowboy Penner in some areas Google resolution aint all that great but it will improve as they expand and with the street map you can get reasonably close by using cross streets and guestimation I think this is a great way for folks to find out whats around especially traveling explorers that may not be familiar with local place names etc
