I suck as a photographer, so I have no business critiquing you, but here goes. I like the first pic, but its a little dark, especially in the background. Number two is killer! Great look there. Three looks like something I would shoot. Apparently interesting subject material, just looks kind of flat and nothing stands out. The first three of the second batch are nice. Sharp and clear. The last one again looks a little flat and kind of washed out.

Overall, nice set. Far better than my work.

I have changed my personal exploring ethics code. From now on it will be: "Take only aimed shots, leave only hobo corpses." Copper scrappers, meth heads and homeless beware. The Jonsered cometh among you, bringing fear and dread.

It looks like a shot looking out of window, the exterior is just really blown out. If you look close you can see what looks like a tree outside. I guess I'm not sure, but that would be my guess. Looks a good opportunity for a bracket and blend.

Your first photo is really quite cool in my opinion. Maybe a little on the dark side, perhaps see if you can bring out some detail in the shadow areas, but don't over-do it because I kind of like the dark look.

Two is a good shot, interesting and well executed. I can't say much about your third because it is really too small for me to get a good look at what is going on. If you can get a bigger version you should post it up in this thread.

The first three of the next set are killer. Very nice work. I already commented on the fourth at the beginning.

Nice work, keep it up!

okay the first one looks like darth vadars death mask from half way and up
then I scrolled down to the rest of the photo and it actually started looking less like a sith lord

but then there's that other one with the face and that's creeping me out too

in your second to last the window looks like its about to fall over...
can you straighten it out?

You're losing most of your detail in your shadows, especially in 1, 3, 6, & 7. The composition in number two is week, too much negative space. I would also recommend against using flash, it's causing a lot of your lack of detail. Try working with longer exposures and ambient light. Interesting subject matter though.

Two weeks of negative space?! What do I look like, a Sasparilla?!
I like the flash, and lack of detail as it were!

Here's to DA, may it burn in a half-doodle 7-year old graphite hell.

Okay.... i understand what your saying but .... I use flash when i want to... which is very rare. And as for Ambient light ... i already do.... ive been doin that since the beginning

FYI alot of these pictures really werent my favorite so i beefed them all up in PS and made them look somewhat good

thanks for the critique though
