| | | Depends who you are caught by. I have to take back the not being caught statement. We were caught once by a caretaker but the guy was a real sweetie and let us go on our merry way after he nailed us climbing out a basement window.
I am not going to be concerned with what might happen if...I pick my sites accordingly and weigh the risks. Getting busted is a concern because I don't want to blow it and get it tightened down for the next guy but getting paranoid and missing out is not an option [last edit 5/2/2006 6:42 PM by shellyl - edited 1 times]
A mirage is not an optical illusion. It is a real phenomenon, and one can take photographs of it. The interpretation of the image, however, is up to the fantasy of the human mind. |

| | | People like to say they don't, but a lot of them do. If it's the only way into a location and i think i can do it without causing to much damage, or making to much noise i might pop a door open. I've not had to yet, but if it was needed and i thought it was safe to do it i would.

Never quite understood the concept of a hasp to lock a door. all ya gotta do is unscrew the hasp.. which is good in cases of UE Replace the said hasp & screws & there's no sign of entry!

| | | Well I must say junkyard, and dev have the right idea. It's the american way to employ overkill, but I'm lazy. A bulldozer is too big to hurk around, and I find hand tools to be tedious to use and carry. I carry a section of Bangalore torpedo with me for those pesky locked doors. Works on the toughest, and there's nothing left of the door (maybe the whole side of the building too) when your done. No evidence of B&E. It also is better than a maglite to belt someone over the head with.
Just when I thought I was out... they pulled me back in. |

| | | Make you own decisions, Its your life. Who gives a fuck what anyone on this site really fucking thinks. You want them to make decisions for you? Just go along with the "ethics" of the site, when on the site. If you do something that is against these ethic keep your fucking mouth shut. Its pretty simple. Everyone here on this site breaks these so called "Ethics" we just dont talk about it. Especially this one...

| | | UE Ethics = Personal Choice If you want to smash a window to get in, go nuts, just be ready to face what comes after if you're caught. Personally I wouldn't go as far as that, it's just a location, give it a couple months vandal's will do it for you. As for un screwing, yeah, I'll do that, but I'll also re attach the un screwed item.

| | | Oh god, not this again. For ---- sakes boys (and girls) use common sense, if the entrance door is shut and locked or you break something to gain access and you get caught you are gonna be slapped with b&e then say bye bye to your life if you are caught. | | | B&E is fine by me; now pointless vandalism is another story. If you get caught, run. Not many people will prosecute a B&E with nothing stolen on an abandoned site, especially if you are there to take photos. If you had an otherwise clean record it would probably get knocked down to a criminal trespass or completely dropped.
