| | | This is the first time Ive posted to this forum so i'm interested to know what people think of my shots; Likes, dislikes and ways that i can improve. They were all shot recently at a welsh Colliery, Some are 35mm Film and others are Digital.

I know what you mean about number 3 lacking a real focal point. With that shot the Locker number was the main point of interest - The number happened to be the year when shot was taken (late december 2005.) I guess it was supposed to reflect the numbers of workers / the passage of time. Any thoughts on improving this would be great. When you mention the effect in 4 do you mean the angle? I agree that number 8 has a very painterly quality, but it's just not as striking as some of the others. I think the depth of field has something to do with it.
