Understandably blurry shot, hand held. Facing south, Burlington cityscape. A different set of stairs nearby. It doesn't look real does it? Slightly blurry. Seen on the walk home. They are all suffering form camera shake to some degree but as Dev pointed out using a tripod will make huge difference to your picture quality. Alternatively you could try resting the camera on objects around you, Bricks, doorframes, etc - Whatever is handy. A higher ISO may also help you to reduce the blur. The comparisons are all unremarkable - they dont really have a "wow" factor as such. You might want to look up the rule of thirds which may again help you to improve. Head over to a hardware store and buy about 6 feet of the ball and chain stuff that your sink drainplug hangs from. Also get a small bolt that screws into the tripod hole of your camera. Mount the chain to the bolt, and when you have a situation that requires a steady hand, just pull out the chain from your pocket and screw it into the camera, and stand on the other end, pull it tight and then you have a semi stable hold for some medium length shots. Of course you could lug around a tripod if you choose, but this gives you an option that most people ignore. All men are cremated equal. If you can look past the slight camera shake in the few that have it, what else can you say about the shots? I'll make note to not submit any blurry shots here, even if I'm aware of the camera shake.
