I finally got my urbex decoder ring and decoded the location of the super secret ultra security Elle-Ville hospital! I feel like things are pulling together. Can't tell if this set is too dark or just dark enough.

best work i've seen of yours, some feel a little dark, and some a bit overexposed in spots, but some pretty solid stuff nonetheless.

goddamn that place looks photogenic.

as already said
great lighting..great subject matter

some shots could use more light
for ex.
# 17 needs more light in the foreground
for 15 it would be nice if the cables were more illuminated
last pic: great selective lighting
I love the glow on the liquid in the bottles

I am nitpicking and find this series wonderful

I agree that this is some of your best work. Really great improvements! Some are still a bit dark but great stuff nonetheless...

2 - This is GREAT. If you like it the way it is, then keep shooting shots like this because it's great! IF it were me, I would want the left side just a tad lighter. The reason is that the dark stain on the floor is interesting and I'd like to bring that out a bit more. But that's me...this is so great just the way it is!

8 - What great use of light. I think this one should have a bit more shadow detail, but it's one of those shots where you don't fucking care what's wrong with it because what is good about it is SO good. I just love the way the light hits the sink. I think the darkness enhances this one a lot, so I wouldn't want to see it much lighter, but just a tad to give it more context. I love the rust color on the near side of the sink!

10 - I love the curtain in this. Did you change your post processing? The colors in these shots are awesome. I love the red on the curtain in this. There's something magnetic about it. There's too much black floor here, but maybe it has to be this way to get the shot right. I'm hypnotized by the curtain too much to care.

11 - Perfect. I might slice off the 3rd iron lung but everything else about this shot is perfect.

12 - Iron lungs creep me out, and this shot REALLY creeps me out. Love it. Great.

14 - Another great one. The windows are blown, which is a bummer, but it took me a while to notice because the subject is so great. The stains on the floor are just great!!

17 - Like this. Off angle is good.

18 - Potential. I think you could have filled the frame with the bottles and gotten a better shot.

Really really nice work. The more I look at these the more I see. They looked REAL dark on my shitty monitor at work, but I'm glad I kept my clap trap shut until I got home and looked at them on a good monitor. Great stuff!

It's very strange. The whole place seems to have been cleaned out very, very well except for a few odd and interesting things.

oh wow, awesome feedback, thank you very much. Yes, I did change my post processing slightly since the Amusement park photos but not much. I think the big difference is I shot these at a darker exposure than normal, about 1 to 2 bars below medium. I did this because that was how the place felt but I also did this because once again I forgot to bring a tripod and the longest exposure I can accurately get off completely freehand is 1/4.
Of course I've changed my processing a lot since before the amusement park photos since I didn't do any at all!
