I'm still only a beginner (by far), but I figure I'm never going to improve unless I suck it up and just post some pictures on here. I still need to try to scrape up some cash for a tripod...but these are just some of my favorites from this weekend.

Invest in a tripod, use the timer and long exposure.

*Edit* I sound mean...There's a lot of potential, but really blurry. Great start though.

Alright...

1, 3, and 7 are well done.

2 - Flash washed out the subject, turn off the flash and shoot with a tripod, if you don't have one, find a table and set the camera down.

5 & 6 are out of focus, again tripod.

Not too bad, Being that you are posting in this sector I am going to be a little harsh.

Picture 1: Looks pretty cool but it seems so far away, the architecture looks sweet, but I think you don't get a really good glimpse of what this place seems to hold from the angle/perspective.

Picture 2: I think this one looks like it got hit by a flash or something cause the amount of white is nuts. It's a pretty cool subject just needs a little better composition.

Picture 3: bathtubs, can't go wrong with these hehe. very colourful which I find very cool. Composition is pretty nice, I like this one.

Picture 4: Same as picture 2

Picture 5: Looks a little out of focus, this one I think would have been mroe interesting if shot from a 45 degree angle of your current position. This was you coudl have seen the wall, perhaps a shadow being casted on it, and the creepy chair. tripod will pay off for this shot.

Picture 6: This one is pretty nice, but it looks a little washed out or something I'm not too sure.

Picture 7: I like this one a lot, I would venture even trying this in black and white I think it would comeo ut pretty good.

since i know what kind of camera you use, i won't bash you on that one. some of the pics are blurry but i think thats your shit camera's fault. your pictures are getting a helleva lot better jill! #3 is pretty awesome. #5 would be sweet if it weren't so blurry. i need to hit up those places with you crazy kids.
