|  | | | Another jaunt to the steel plant I frequent so often. This time we tried to get around with some daylight, unfortunately we encountered heavy activity and were only able to shoot a couple photos around one of the out buildings. With that in mind none of these are nearly as cool as the stuff I wanted to shoot, but some comments would be appreciated.

I'm still not sold on the HDR thing, I think sometimes in the right situation it can look stunning, your effort in the last 2 pictures looks quite good I think, but overall I think HDR makes the image look really fake..

I know what you mean with HDR images tending to look kind of fake. They don't necessarily have to, but I tweaked in such a way that makes them look a little bit unbelievable. It was really an aesthetic choice on my part. Maybe I'll put up the same two shots without the tweaks, just to have a comparison between the HDR image with and without further processing.
