These shots were part of a self portrait assignment at school (20 sec self-timer was used)… not really "ue" related but I just wanted to get some thoughts from my peers on these shots, I’ve also provided some background info.

Good ol’ Tri-X 400 @ 320 ISO
Aperture: F5.6 / F16

Printed 15 seconds @ F8 w/ #4 Filter

The scans really don’t give the prints justice but they will give you a good idea. Let me know what you think! (composure / subject matter / ect)

Wow......but I have to ask....

The $64,000 Question:

How long do youz all think it will take before these pics end up on Ogrish with a manufactured story to accompany them?

"Man gets stabbed to death by his brother in his bathtub....in Brazil."

Very interesting... very creative.

I like your style. A lot.

I usually stay away from Tri-X if I can, but the harsh grain actually compliments your work.

Intense. I love em.
With the second pic I was reminded of the old school movie that the doctor in house on haunted hill made while performing on patients. I half expected you to get up and start stop motion walking towards the camara.

Out of curiousity, where was the wound supposed to be?

Ha good question, but you are right no wound is visible in any of the shots, I didn’t want to get corn syrup all over myself since I still had to be able to make adjustments to my camera then run into place before the self-timer went off. I’ll leave wounds for next time

No visible wounds work in your favour in this regard... only one wrist is visible, and no front of the neck. Lots of opportunity.
