We think mods are fine and are essential to this site. Yet, we think the "vision/leadership/direction" team needs to be elected to finally resolve the credibility & respect over authority issue. But I don't think no one ever ask to have an election for mods. EVER. My apologies for the confusion then. I read a lot about mods and elections and assumed it was to do with mod elections. Also when I read that Av wanted to hand the forum over to the mods, I thought that would include giving them the responsibility of leading/directing it. But if that's not the case then I'd agree that there definately needs to be someone to give the place some direction. Unless that's what has happened, and you would prefer the leadership team to be seperate from the mod team. In which case I can understand that also.
