Gender: Male Hypocrite  |  |  Free online maps of Canada? < on 10/21/2003 8:40 AM >   I'm wondering if there's a Canadian equivalent of Topozone for getting free maps online, specifically I'm trying to find maps of some WWII bunkers that I think are around Prince Rupert, but I'd like to have a topo map resource for the rest of Canada as well. I think I've seen something like this mentioned, but a search returned nothing useful. Gender: Male  |  Re: Free online maps of Canada? <Reply # 6 on 10/25/2003 5:27 AM >   another thing you may want to get your paws on and learn how to interpret is aerial photographs. they can show you things that you wouldn't see on a topo map and really gives you real time photos. they can show you everything on a very small scale (up to 1:100 from what i've seen) and have been updated recently (circa at least 1970 in Canada.. i know of Ontario for sure) and (hypothetically) are updated every 10-20 years. they're a little more expensive than a topo map but more than well worth it, especially if you know what you're looking for. .matticus matticus  Location: Toronto, Ont. / Lindsay, Ont.
