| | Advice needed to post pic's on this forum ? < on 4/9/2006 10:20 PM >
| | | Can someone please tell me the best way to reduce images down to the size that is allowed on this forum (100K or less) without loseing a lot of size or detail ?? I have around 300 pictures that were all taken with the following information: ---------- Type: JPEG Bitmap (JPG) YCbCr Size: 1,355KB Attributes: 3072 x 2304 (7.08MP) 24 Bit DPI: 72 x 72 ---------- I have Irfan View, FastStone, ACDSEE and Adobe Photoshop CE installed BUT I have access to pretty much *any* editing program that I might need that would be better to do this with. (I have very basic knowledge of these programs so please keep that in mind) Thank you for your time and help!! John [last edit 4/9/2006 10:34 PM by LiNUXG33K - edited 1 times]

| | | Resize, using Irfan View, (use resample function please) to 640x480, and save with 90%, it should be smal enough, and look alright.

| | | Photoshop Elements: Batch Process Photoshop Propper: Do an 'Actions' command to encode whatever you want to an infinite number of photos. check tutorials for further info, it's a pretty advanced feature. Photos on the forum should be (in my Nazi opinion): -Adobe RGB 1998 Color Space -No more than 700px on the longest side -Resolution of 72dpi Post if any more questions! Glass
