Just a bunch of Random shots from Ashley coal breaker and others

I think the excessive light worked to my advantage on the last one

All these shots were taken with a Minolta Maxxum 7xi with varius lenses most of them with a Maxxum 28-80mm AF AZ ........ Lemme know what y'all think

Leo1: You cant just wander around Gary going into old buildings! Theres plenty of crackheads that will bust you in the mouth for that camera, then run a train your ladyfriends.
Me: I like Gary, I think its nice, aside from the lack of eats on a Sunday afternoon.
Leo2: Yeah, its really nice...until we find three dead strangers in an...abandoned...thing.

Beautiful! Sometimes when I see this kind of stuff, it makes me want to smash my camera.

I have changed my personal exploring ethics code. From now on it will be: "Take only aimed shots, leave only hobo corpses." Copper scrappers, meth heads and homeless beware. The Jonsered cometh among you, bringing fear and dread.

Very cool work with perspective! I love your use of deep color saturations, contrasts, and short depth of field! Keep it up!

Hey JPA!
I think your industrial-styled shots turned out the best for this set, and I'd like to see a lot of them in black and white, though the first obviously benefits from the blue hue. I think your greatest tool is your control of the aperture.

Keep it up,
Glass

Nice work, some interesting subjects. In pic 4 the concrete booth in the foreground; does anyone know what that is? I know they where associated with the RR, but not their full function.

Just when I thought I was out... they pulled me back in.

I second what Glass has to say about your aperture control, it lends great strength to your shots. 1, 2, 4, 5, and 7 are all excellent in my opinion.

The doll rocks. All the rest are great as well, you seem to have a fetish with looking through things, doors, windows, holes in shrubbery. Not that it's bad, you have a definate theme going on; I think the industrial shots might benefit from some close ups of equipment or some long distance shots with alot of detail in them such as down a drainage ditch or across a catwalk into an open rusty vat.
