I agree, I wouldn't really call that macro. Some of them are decent though. I really like the gourd thing, lol.

Now go out there and get in close!

Thanks for the replies. Unfortunately, these are as close to macro as my camera will take. I have a Olympus Camedia 2040Z. It is a fairly decent SLR'ish camera, but unfortunately, it is not the real deal. I can't change lenses, but it is a decent one which is of some consolation I suppose.

Which building where you at Abandon, the power plant, or T&P?

Really like the nuts and bolts picture and the one of the gourd. The others don't really scream macro to me. The only one I really don't like is the one of the chain hanging out of focus, it's too light, flat, and kinda boring.

You could try some macro filters. They're not as good as a lens but will get you in a bunch closer. Pretty cheap compared to a lens, and still bunches of fun.

Very nice, I like them. You have some nice angles there. I especially like the lock and the one with the chains. Interesting angle and nice depth of field
Oh awesome nuts and bolt pic too, I missed that one at first.

It's a 1000 ohm resistor with a tolerance of +/- 1 and a temperature coefficient of 50!

SWEET!

Those are my favourites.

Damn ! These are real nice, a pleasure to look at. Did you happen to note the image settings ? I'm interested to know what distance you were from the objects and what your aperture sizes were. Macro is something I'm still trying to master.

You may think you can fly.....but you'd better not try it.
