Still Working It.

A set from a hospital in CT. Shot the entire set without a tripod.

I'm posting these to share first of all but I love feedback so I guess I'll post them here?

Oh, and I'm having lots of trouble picking what photos of mine I want to post. I can never tell which ones people will like and which ones people won't. Any tips?

Decent set, especially for shooting it tripodless. Ones I like: 1/7 (kinda the same shot, I'm leaning towards 1), 10, 12, and 16 would be great if it was a touch higher, seperating the bullet from that black line that touches the top of it.

I would like 5, but that snow is too blown out compared to the rest of the shot, plus it's almost perfectly symmetrical in the background, but not quite. Crop out that third window on the right, and fix the snow, and I like it quite a bit. It is nice, even though it's a chair shot.

Oh, and I'm having lots of trouble picking what photos of mine I want to post. I can never tell which ones people will like and which ones people won't. Any tips?

Pick the ones you like, just be sure you know why you like them before you post them.

Nice stuff, I agree number 5 & 16 if put together have something very sinister going on.

I want to die while asleep like my grandfather,
not screaming in terror like the passengers in his car.

Good Set Dr. Fancy. I like 13 the most though the shadow pon the left hand side is a little distracing. The vaulting horse in 8 is a pretty unique find, though the tight cropping (where you lose the foot) takes a little away from the overall image. The theater ones are cool, but the highlights are too blown out.

There are some killer shots in there but you need to resize them properly because the quality really sucks my ass. What software do you use?

Favourites: 1, 3, 4, 7, 12, 13, and 14.

Two is the only one that doesn't seem as good as the others.

1 - I like this but it would be better from an angle other than standing height. Not bad though.

3 - This is I like a lot. The angle gives it a sense of permanence which works with the background. Love the colors.

4 - This had potential but there's too much dark frame. This would be better as a bracket and blend.

5 - Standing height angle takes away from this otherwise great shot. I like it anyway though.

8 - Nice! I would have gone B&W, but this was definitely an interesting find.

9 - The composition of this is great. I think the presentation is a bit too straightforward though. I think some post processing could really make this even better than it is. Great composition though.

10 - This might be my favorite of the bunch. Great composition, good color, etc. If I were to change anything I would have pointed the camera down just a tad to get a bit more of the chair in the foreground and less of the wall in the back. Nice shot either way though.

11 - It actually took me a second to "get" this. Good shot.

12 - One "rule" of photography is that things should face in to the frame rather than out of it. I don't know why but it works better. I'd also like to see this not from standing height. Good concept though.

13 - Nice. I like this a lot. Good job framing. If the windows went back further I would have shot it landscape and gotten more windows in, but as it is it looks like you shot this perfectly. Great job composing this. The synergy between all the windows in the frame is great.

15 - Good idea, but I would have shot it straight on and post processed it more. Probably black and white

16 - Frame is unbalanced. The bullet on the other side balancing the yellow thing would be better but this is good nonetheless.

17 - Love the light. Nice.

18 - This is perfect except for the fact that the horizonal isn't level, which bugs me.

19 - Like this one a lot.

Nice job!

Visualizer Resizer? Any tips on a better one? I'd love to find a batch resizer that actually keeps the photo metadata (shutter speed, iso, etc)

Oh man, so awesome, thanks so much! As far as post processing I don't do it. It's something I have to start doing and I have to learn but all my shots come straight off the camera like that.

That's something I love about Flickr.com... I pick out what I think are my best and post them on there, but I'm always surprised by which ones get the most clicks/comments/"faves"... definitely give it a try if you haven't already.

I like the location, just wish that the pix were larger and in gallery tags... as far as the artistry I've seen you do much better. Contrast is my friend.

Glass

PS
SECOND TAKE:

I like them! My favorite is the mossy stage. Ignore what I said about contrast.
