Sub-Categories

Don't know how you'd implement something like this, but I was thinking that a sub-category would be helpful when looking for certain locations.

such as
buildings
-school
-factory
-church
-house
etc...

And add Alarms to security features.

We must also go out and meet the enemy before he reaches our shores. We must defeat him before he attacks us, before our cities are laid to waste.

How is asking for a check box for alarms being lazy? There is a
Security Measures thing already I just asked about an extra box. As For the sub- catagories thing I think it would be pointless. The main picture or title of the location should tell you what it is.

Well I was looking for a location for a specific reason.

I found what I was looking for, but if you're into something specific then I think it would be helpful.

Ok, maybe it would seem a bit lazy, then how about another set of categories

- Residential
- Industrial
- Commercial
- Crown

Your LDB?

Last time I checked it was AV's.

And I'm not telling anybody to do anything. Just making a suggestion.

Joke, bro! I'm just unsuggesting your suggestion in a friendly but unprofessional manner... I'll see you around the forums.

Maybe we should include floor plans and entry details as well.

As an explorer you should be about to quickly surmise whether or not a location is alarmed.

Besides, isn't there already a feature in the LDB which allows one to indicate the security measure (alarms included) at a site?

Yes, there is a section to indicate alarms and such, so that would not be needed. You should be able to make that determination when you arrive at the location.

---

Oh, and as for a joke, if you stated at the end it was a joke then I would have found it funny, as I read it back with some sarcasm yes it looks like it, and many of times here it's been said 'sarcasm does not translate well over the internet'.

From what I've seen around here the forums are a place to make your suggestions, and 'un-suggestions' open and free. (sometimes not so free though)

That's what this forum is for, well issues more, but suggestions have been made here in the past, and more than likely will be made in the future.

I've seen people get upset over simple things said here in the Forums, so..

Let's forget about all of this and makeup . . . give me a hug.

Alright alright, let's get this back on topic.

I can't possibly anticipate every little option that might apply to any one location. This is why there is a box where you may type any additional thing which you would choose to specify, such as "Alarms" or "Photograph of Mary Worth".

However would you agree that almost everyplace would fall into the category of:
- Residential;
- Industrial;
- Commercial;
- Crown;
- Clergy;
- Other? (Other just being ones you may come up with)
