Raytheon Complex

there is a compound of buildings that used to be owned by raytheon, a company that does defense contract work for our military and police, building weapons and thermal imagers and what not. some of it is now a office complex, but most of the larger buildings look unused, also i saw a storm drain entrance that looked big enough to walk in, but i didnt investigate further, as i was alone. im definitely sure the recreation building further back is inactive. its in lewisville off hwy 121 to the left heading north, right before fm 3040.

Be careful with that one. Defense contractors could probably detain you Guantanamo Bay Style if you get caught....

oh no its not owned by raytheon anymore, its just a generic office complex now. but not all of it is used by the offices. i can assure you that it isnt owned by raytheon, and they're a private company anyway.

One private company or not , you go lurking around "private" defense contractor that makes weaponry and your gonna have BIG problems, second, Parts of that complex are still controlled by Rayethon. I would do alot of recon work and research before I went poking around there... but that's just my opinion!

Yeah, the database on Googleearth is like 5 years old. You can double check it on dfwmaps.com. They have the 05 aerial photos.

I'm a blatant waste of time and resources.

Looks interesting. Haven't seen it before but I'd be just a bit careful between the land still being owned by the Airforce, the daily police patrols and the drug dealers.

it cant be that bad at the raytheon complex, when i go there there are no fences no gates no guard houses. but there are some buildings worth exploring in there.

Yeap, don't mess around defense contractor sites. You will get hammered. Not worth it.

Just when I thought I was out... they pulled me back in.
