| | | First impressions: 1-Boring composition, looks very "snapshotty" 2-Bland lighting/tones 3-Very nice, excellent. Perhaps a polarizer could bring out the clouds. That or just a bit deep blue in the sky would be nice.

| | | I didn't like any of them. Sorry. Contrast and color was lacking, not really interesting subjects...

| | | I really like the simple composition of number 3. Beautiful location and sky.

| | | I agree with Glass on 1 and 2 .... but 3 if you got a little closer to the ground and maybe shot with a say 28 mm Wide angle and turned it B&W you might have something..... if you go back.... try it out .... i dont mean to sound like an asshole but ive learned a little bit about composition from looking at critiques on here AND getting critiqued myself... Take a picture as if its costing you 100 bux and you'll come out with nothing but the best....... unless you have that kind of money lol

| | | The second one really bugs be because the edges of the door clash with the edges of the frame? Make it look more deliberate. Also......is that a graduated blue filter....? I'm not into that for that shot. A solid filter or none at all, but not a graduated one. Either that or it's just funky lighting and I look like an asshole now. The third one is very nice, though. Very nice.

| | | no apologies necessary I encourage feedback you wont hurt my feelings I promise 1. is a snapshot, guess I got all wrapped up in the moment of finding that hole in the fence, in fact all of these are snapshots I was looking over my shoulder pretty much the whole time I was in there 2. no filter, handheld, available light only, I think there was a window w/mini blind and blue wall behind me in this barracks corridor 3. I only wished I was there at sundown, shot is looking north, wish I could have exaggerated the perimeter fence stretching out over the horizon better somehow and kept the lone bldg in the shot If I went back what should I (or would you) do differently (I know old missile bases arent as cool as dark asylums and there were no antique chairs in dark hallways)

I've photographed three NIKE bases, and I think the best shots I've taken are super long exposure night-shots.

| | | I think number one could have been a little better composed, and the shot would have improved. I love the sky in the 3rd one but it too should be zoomed in on so you have a tighter composition.
