| | | If it's Toronto, it must be good. Seriously though, pointing out the obvious the second one could use less noise, and the overexposure on the last one takes away from its effect. More drama in the form of shadows and contrast could make it even better, as long as its natural (not cheaply adjusted via the photoshop bar). Not that I have anything against b/w, but that third one could probably be better in colour.

| | | I don't think we are talking about the same toronto actually. But thats for the critique. I guess the tank one is quite over blown and the one with the switch isn;t that bad in colour but I figured I would post all B+W for now.

| | | New work from Toronto, OH --> 1. Interesting shapes from the roofline. I'm not 100% sure I like the gravel in the bottom portion of the image, although it does help define that you're on a roof looking out. 2. Bit out of focus. Subject is interesting, but a little predictable. Not that shooting up and down ladders isn't fun, it's pretty common though. 3. I know the controller is hanging from the ceiling, but there aren't enough shadows/depth and it's too flat to suggest how far from the back wall the controller is hanging. Also, the background doesn't give enough idea of where this controller is hanging. Is it in a wide open bay, a skinny hallway, etc.? You could tell more of a story by simply moving the camera around. 4 & 5. These are promising images. You have some nice shape repetition and the composition in #4 really pulls you in and makes you want to look around the corner. Do you still have the image that you showed me either with the box of light bulbs? I personally liked that one! All and all these images are much stronger from your first batch when we went together. The use of a tripod in this set really makes a difference! Keep up the good work...

| | | Thanks Southside, the tripod = savior. We went back this morning I shot another 3 rolls of film and explored the basement and more, crazy stuff. I agree about the ladder it has been done I just like the shot :D I'm looking for the light bulb shot, but here are some shots I ran through IR.

| | | Good content, but I think the composition could use some work. All your subjects are based right around the center, I think pulling them to the left or right will make the pictures a lot more interesting. Number 2 appears to be out of focus through out. The location looks great and really like number 3!
Today is your way out... |

| | | Hey thanks for the comments. I do agree my composition could use some work, the second picture was taken out of focus cause of my IR attempt in photoshop, it could be a little bit more contrasted too.
