These shots have potential, but something about the lighting is off balance.

Shots are overexposed. For scenes like pic 1, try taking 2 exposures of the same scene, but with different shutter speeds - one for the interior and one for the sky, the blend them together using a HDRI program.

Good location, though

I don't really like any of them. The first is the only shot with printable potential--IF you corrected the metering and spend more time configuring your aperture; it's far too wide (that or you put on a sharp mask).
Don't post photos with destructive lens flare like 7: it's tacky and people will automatically think you're a point and shooter with a bad attitude. If you want to get rid of the flare you have to do it before the exposure either by turning the camera away from the light source or blocking the specularity with your hand.
Once again, use the focus carefully with wider apertures... on second look all the photos have problems with that.

Thanks for the feedback, I know these did not come out too well but there was a heavy security presence and i had a window of about 15-20 min to take these shots.

The only bad attitude is thinking less of a "point and shooter", we cant all be an artistic genius like yourself.

If you can't take criticism stay out the critique forum.
This is where people speak their minds.
I'm sorry now that I took time to give you my honest opinion and a tip.

PS.
I see by your last post that you aren't even confident about these photos. Why did you post them in the intensely artistic forum, then?

I don't mind the criticism, my photos do need work.

What weighs with me is the statement about being a "point and shooter", I see that as an elitist attitude. People who use a point and shoot are no worse than that the super cool SLR people, you would do well to think that way.

The term "point and shooter" isn't based on the equipment you're using--as the context of my statement makes very clear; it has to do with the style your photos conveyed to me: I didn't see a lot of thought put into composition nor time into finding what subjects really characterize your motives.

I do not consider myself elitist; I am constantly subject to critique from professors and professionals who are far less forgiving than I was to you. But if you wish to see me as looking down on you, you're more than welcome to elaborate on what I need to remedy in my photos: I just posted a thread titled "Step on Glass" and I encourage you to be as nasty as you can be in evaluating my style.

Again, please don't be defensive that I found fault in your photos; I tried my best to post advice that was to be conducive to your improvement as a photographer.

I did not feel like retyping this.

I think we are missing each others point. All I said is that using terms like "point and shooter" SEEM(opinion, not fact) a bit elitist. I call things tha way I see it, that is how I saw it. My feelings are not hurt, but it seems to me that yours might be, for that I apologise. I also did not want to imply that the advise you gave was not good, just had a bit of a smug tone to it. Since you did give me good advise in photography, I thought I would give some advise in communicating your thoughts in a non confrontational way. I will not make that same mistake again.

It's all good I ain't mad acha, take a few deep breaths and relax. After all it is just a 'UE forum and not the end of the world
