It's Grackle and Starling season in Dallas again.
Sorry for the crappy photos but driving and photography don't mix well.

I hate grakles. The city has been trying to scare em away from the touristy area with loud "shotgun like" blasts down here.

I trained 'em in our neighborhood. Now I can walk outside and rattle my keys and they all leave. My training secret? Wrist rocket and paint balls.

That is nothing, you should see downtown Fort Worth at around 5:45. The whole entire sky is densely populated by grackles. Definitely thousands anyways. The weird thing is, I dunno where they go after that...

They all go to San Antonio, because that's where they are now.

I love grackles. The males do some funky-ass mating calls/dances. I love it when they puff up, jump around and make noises like they're being electrocuted...makes me laugh every time.

I say welcome! please grackles, dont leave...

When a couple hundred of 'em start that crap at 4 am outside your bedroom window it's not nearly so amusing.
