Another Sunday Outing

Found a huge complex just outside of Dallas. Used to be a fertilizer factory. spent most of the day there, took over 500 pictures and still only covered about half of it. Looks like a second outing is called for. (must remember to bring water next time. . .) Here's some pics.

Looks cool! Ammonium Nitrate eh? Hmmmmm. As Freak would say "its da bomb, yo."

I have changed my personal exploring ethics code. From now on it will be: "Take only aimed shots, leave only hobo corpses." Copper scrappers, meth heads and homeless beware. The Jonsered cometh among you, bringing fear and dread.

I've seen this place many times but never had the opportunity to stop and check it out. Noah said it wasn't very interesting but maybe he didn't stay around long enough to see the cool stuff. There is a farmer there that will run you off if he finds you. As always Sam, nice job.

Yep, the larger structures are pretty barren. Most of the cool stuff was in the little out buildings. We saw the farmers stuff and stayed clear of it. We went, as always early Sunday morning, so we had the place pretty much to our selves. One of the farm hands did pull up just as we were leaving. ;)

its also possible to have been an old munitons plant. ammonium nitrate is also used in general explosives. the sryinge and radioactive box are kind of creepy.

Great Photos!
THat is a cool place. THey raise calves there now and can get pretty testy when they see you. THe hands are OK but it's the rifle totin' boss that can be a problem. When Me and coffinnail and NV went last time, we got out in the nick of time before the helicopter and cops came. I took a couple of shots from the back seat as we passed them. They were just heading into the woods. Unbelievable.

We figured somebody musta escaped from the prison. I can't see 9 squad cars,a helicopter, horses and dogs for trespassers.

I hate to be a prick, but you've contributed nothing and only ask to be PMed the info to locations people post. Find you own shit, son. Y'know, explore.

Actually, I love being a prick.

And yeah, that's pretty interesting, I didn't see any of that stuff, I went east.

Thats awsome, must have been real exciting pulling out as that was going down!

Yah we saw the calves there, and stayed away. We didn't want to be mistaken for cattle rustlers, quick way to get shot at in that part of the world.

Cool to see your photos of the place, I love seeing the same place through someone elses lens. Get a look at all the stuff I missed.

Oh, BTW where the hell is my god damn membership card?! I want to see the super secret forum boards!!!

If you don't have time to scout out locations how would you find time to explore the ones we find?
