I'm pretty new to photography and looking for any kind of feedback. They're not all UE, but whatever. Bring it on.

I like what you did on the Devil's tower one, it seems like a filter (red?) might bring out the sky some more, but I don't know if that would really help much or not, I'm no B+W expert.

I like your positioning for the Minnehaha falls photo, I think the silhouetted foreground works well.

The tailrace photo, I think I've taken something almost identical, and so has somebody else - GreyKat or Gatsby, and I haven't been happy with the harsh contrast between the lit and unlit areas. I'd really like to see the further in sections of tunnel lit too, maybe click the shutter from inside the gate, and run away from the camera popping flashes.

The first one doesn't do anything for me.

Overall cool stuff.

The first one is a bit too flat, it looks like you're just using the on-camera flash in the dark. Try lighting that type of thing from the side, so the shadows can bring out the shape and texture of it.

I like the concept of the second one, I feel like I'm coming out of a clearing in the woods and finding the waterfall, very nice. It looks like it really could have benefitted from using a tripod, nothing in the photo is sharp, and so you've got nothing to contrast with the moving water, which is your focus in the image.

I like the ring of light in the third, but that's really it. The dark fence in the foreground really bothers me and makes the photo hard to look at for very long.

Again the fourth could have used a tripod as everything looks to be a bit blurred my camera shake. Also a bit darker photo may have suited this well to get some more contrast going on. As it is it looks very flat and boring.

The last photo is a very nice low, wide angle shot, and the row of trees bring your eyes right towards your focal point in the center. Those branches in the lower right are really bothering me though, because they're pushing their way right in front of your subject and end up very distracting. Maybe if you'd walked forward a few paces past them you could have had a much cleaner image with more impact.
The black and white suits it well but you really need more contrast; right now there is nothing black or white in it, only flat grey.

Ah ok, I only saw it during the day. That is a pretty cool little area. But there were like 800 children there when I was, so that took a little something out of it :p

I really like the colors in the waterfall shot. Is that natural light? It's very saturated and velvia-ish.

I took the shot at night, but there's big orange flood lights at the top of the basin that shine down. So the reds and oranges were already there, but i did increase the saturation just a touch for a bit more color.
