there is talk of how parkland hospital needs millions of $$$ for improvements and not even that would bring it up to city code, and it will cost billions to build a new one, so if they build a new one, weve got parkland all to our selfs .

What? Old Parkland has been abandoned since '54. And new Parkland I assure you, is not going to be abandoned. Gotta link? I'd like to see this article.

We have the same situation here down here. A huge hospital has just announced there going to build 2 new hospitals to replace an older one, that has become landlocked. I don't know what they'll do with the old complex, but if it shuts down, it'll be a UE'er dream... Two towers with underground connecting tunnels and all sort of neat additions....

i have been wanting to get into parkland . the old one. been by there a couple times but there was always the man there trying to keep us down-haha...

yeah i have been out of the loop. i had hmwk and some health issues come mainly- me being sick all the time- argh...

anyhoo, i am headed home to IL for some time with the P's... maybe i can find something there to check out.

sorry for the oodles of thought-hehe
