If these supposed bacteria make electricity then why would the flash light have 2 C cells? And I'm sure this ground breaking technology if it existed wouldn't cost a mere 10 dollars.

Then you must be even thicker. Agent Skelly already said it doesn't run on water, so maybe you should read closer.

No, you blockheads, it does not run on water! the water bottle is a separate item!

Wait a moment, you mean to tell us the water bottle is a separate unit? It's not integrated to the flashlight? The water bottle has its own power source!??

What do you think we are, STUPID? We don't have the technology for that kind of thing yet - certainly not in the 10$ range!

Chris...

We all had ostriches. My dad had an ostrich farm! I remember one day someone came in and said the high altitude bombing of Kosovo had been a limited success, so we all went out and celebrated… by killing an ostrich and boiling it in kiwi fruit.

Are you saying the water bottle runs off of the flashlight? Cause that would make much more sense.

dicks sporting goods sells a LED minimag kit and tailclicker all in one for ~$10

as for big maglights there's a thread around here that tells how to make one, i have made several they are intense!

*Note: I love far far off topic rom "Good Deal on LED Flashlight @ Target" it is now....

EDIT: the LED minimags last around 20hrs[stock:2hrs]
the LED 3D mags run about 30-40 hours bright, and around 200 hours total(final brightness is that of a minimag)[stock life:10hours]

And even better on the battery life front is the actual 50% brightness mark. The AA mini-mag is at 50% in 1/2 hour. The regulation of LED (not all are regulated) means it should stay fully bright for most of it's run time.
