Why is the last one so light? Was that intentional? Because it's inconsistent with the others.

#'s 1 and 2 are nicely done, you nailed the exposure in a difficult lighting situation. #2, however, is slightly off-axis...if you're going to come that close to lining up everything perfectly, please, if it's off, crop it and make the lines straight. Tilt that about 2 degrees counter clockwise, and maybe crop about half an inch off the outside all the way around, it starts to look much stronger.

#3 - is it supposed to be that blurry? I know an army of graphic designers that would love this shot, because blurry pictures are good for writing on top of (or so their twisted designer logic goes). If it's supposed to be that way, it works for that sort of thing, but it wouldn't really ever hang on a wall...maybe background for a cd cover or something.

#4 - good idea, too blurry for a photo/not blurry enough for a designer. I think you may need a sturdier tripod, and some sort of remote or cable release. Just a thought.

#5 - is this a trick question? For the love of god, get some black in that photo (and then tilt it 3 or 4 degrees counter clockwise) then we can talk.

Overall, the first two are nice as is, and have potential for greatness (assuming they weren't shot on a 1.2 megapixel Nokia cell phone or something).

Ah, thanks, I needed that on a Monday morning.

Edit to add: Thanks for actually posting UE photos, I was getting tired of random nature shots and random other non-UE photos in this new forum.

The last one is definitely way too light.

I really like the composition of #1. Compared to #2, the angle makes it much more interesting. And the presence of the partial floor, absent from #2, also makes a huge difference. Unfortunately the clarity of color and detail of #1 is not as good as #2. Overall, #1 is a very memorable picture to me.

1. if that little bit of the wall was gone on the lower left hand side, and there was a bit more saturation this picture would be perfect

I enjoy 1 and 2, although they're nothing special. What the hell were you trying to do with 3?

mutantMandias: You're everywhere. You're the wind. You're the air. You're the bnt. brandnewteeth is like the Cyrus of Marietta gangs. CAN YOU DIG IT?
dsankt: BNT rocks shiny penny loafers. I heard he explores in them cos it puts a spring in his step for the laddies.
