| | | I think the shallow DOF works well in the one with the bottom of a shoe in it, but in the two to the left of that, its a bit too extreme. The top left one is probably my favorite. The sun glare and the fact that the person's back makes it seem "off", but in a good way that adds mystery, I think. The bubbles are wonderful. Is that a small dog? It's too dark and small to really see it, and yet its something of a focal point since the person seems to be staring at it. If it were in the light just enough that we could see its face, this would be a very different picture. But these things are not always under our control! | | | I think the backgrounds in 1, 4, 5, and 8 are a little too distracting, though the composition and color of 5 is my favorite of the batch! In 2 I think that it's a good concept with the hair in her face, but I'd like to have some more tone and definition in the shadows of her face; it's overexposed with the highlights blown. I just don't like #8... sorry for lack of constructiveness. New favorite! #3! Also thanks for putting the pix into the format instead of full sized stacking. This makes it a lot easier to do

| | | With #5 I was trying to bring the viewer's eye towards the hands. It's supposed to convey trust, a bond or relationship. I used such a shallow DOF to draw the eye in that direction. #8 was just to be funny.

| | | the first one is nice except for the glare on the right side. Great use of depth of field on most of the photo. I like how you can see the girl though the hoop on the ladder in 3rd photo. Great macro shots on the last few photos. to me the 5th photo is a little contrast but great composition. I really like the the second one from this collection, the hair is a little too expose but still great photo.

Kabbalah is an undramatic tradition that requires great patience and stability. One of the reasons for this tempo is that everyone has to mature his potential gradually and thoroughly at his natural pace. In this way his life's work unfolds at the right moment in his own and the cosmos's time. Z.B.S. Halevi -- Kabbalah |
