Ok. My turn. These don't have anything to do with each other and not all to do with urVex.

cool shot I like all the converging lines...

I'd have taken one step back to get all of the hopscotch lines in, shame you lost that corner

rule of thirds would've helped but cool shot

neat light but nothing too exciting...

very cool!! no real critique on this one. Nice shot!

Kill whomever developed that print!! Look at all the dust... pure evil. Great shot once it's re-printed... love the blur...

disturbing... I like it

I don't normally post on photo threads, but I have to say, I really love the two shots with the rocks. They look like they're going somewhere. Nice work.

cant offer much help

the coast shot is fantastic ditto the converging lines comment

the b&w drain is also very cool the rocks make that one work

the roller coaster might have worked better if it wasnt so backlit
(next time move the sun) !

Yeah, the coaster one was one of those accidents that I just like for some strange reason. When I scanned it I forgot how dusty the room was but when I saw how it looked I decided to keep it that way. I don't know why. Just kind of adds an erie feeling to it, I guess.

I really like the first, the third, and the last. I agree with obscura about the developing (or possibly scanning) of the second last one. That shot might have benefited either with a wider angle to get more of the coaster, or an angle that confined it to the left side of the track so it was a bit more ambiguous.

What type of film are the first four taken with? I absolutely love the colours-especially in the first. It has an odd faded vibrance to it. I dig it.

1.I like all the lines and curves that all seem to meet at the end.
2.Theres alot of things captured in 1 picture,I like it.
3.I like how everything above the light is clean and everything under it seems dirty and decaying. But the texture of the surface kinda hurts my eyes.
4.Theres a bit too much going on.
5.Perfectly lit and the black and white is like the icing on the cake.My favorite one.
6.The dirt and bad development kinda add to the shot, make it seem vintage or older which is also the feeling of wooden coasters in general.
7.I like how the darkness fades out the corner and the writing on the wall makes everything else seem large.

Good set!

I like the dustiness of the coaster pic. It ages it in a good way.

#1 Is an excellent shot. While not much could improve on this shot, I would like to see the same shot, but with the camera tilted so that the line where the water meets the sand and the line where the sky meets the hill would be horizontal. I dunno if it would be any good or not but just a idea.

The Tunnel shot is also an excellent shot, You really nailed the contrast getting everything from the whitest white to the pitch black in the shot. Great job capturing the detail of the tunnel.

The last photo is nearly perfect in my view. The only thing that erks me, is the writing on the walls that distracts and takes away from the surreality of the shot.

Very nice

I like the converging lens in picture 1 and the tunnel with the rocks is phenomenal. I also like the rollercoaster silhouette (is that abandoned or active?) but i think the blurring detracts from it, a greater contrast would be more eerie and iconic.

It appears active. You can see a blurred coaster on the track
