| | | I like most of them... but none stand out as a "blow away" photo. (but I really really like #4) I like the technique in all of them, but I think seeing the subjects in a bit more detail rather than as landscapes would help your photography in general. Try some macro shots, you might like it. Oh yeah, don't be addicted to wide angles. I was for a while, but then I realized that wide-angle photography must be used in moderation, or else it loses it's effect.

| | | I enjoyed the vibrant, saturated colors of the first few. I agree with fatLouie, don't get addicted to wide angle like I did I played around using my 18mm lens, but now I am experimenting with my 80mm lens and my 70-210mm thingy.

| | | I agree with Louie %100. I too, often would try to capture a large area. Often without a wide angle, its difficult to get the proper perspective. Sometimes I get caught up in the emotion of a big room or hallway, when the shot is perhaps something on a smaller scale. Maybe a doorknob, valve, lever or switch. As far as the photos go, I think theyre solid. In my opinion they may be a little on the "safe" side. But hey, you know what they say about opinions...........

| | | Good stuff. I'd crop that border on the left of your first picture. About the third one, it's a shame the pipes in foreground are that much dark. That's a detail, though.

| | | From someone who knows nothing about photography...shot eight is definitely my favorite => it immediately draws attention to the center of the pic, but leaves more detail to look at including a nice background [last edit 11/26/2005 6:45 AM by ~pandora~ - edited 1 times]

| | | Not bad at all. Good exposures except the window shot. (Gotta be careful around those windows.) Decent composition. Technically they work well.

Not a bad night shot, okay exposure but looks a bit overexposed 2
It's an okay shot, a bit touristy IMO. What's the main focus of the pic? The ceiling? the pillars? With no one element standingout more than another element the viewer is left to wander about the image trying to guess what the subject might be. Try a low angle shot looking up the pillars (the ceiling looks so cool) or what about a closer shot of the sqaure, funky pillars? 3
too much going on... break the scene down and focus on one element... macro is your friend 4
I like this one... no one central subject but the light is cool. Was it a long exposure? How about walking into the shot for part of it to produce a "ghost" for interest? Just a thought... 5
shows scale and size but what else? 6
that small table is the shot... you should get closer and make that the subject... cool light... 7
cool shot, try using different metering patterns, expose for the window light not the shadows... 8
get closer and find a subject... 9
again cool light and so many cool bits to fucus on but overall no main subject 10
eh see the other shot above.. shows scale and size but what else? overall a good start.. I mean the views expressed are my opinions so what do they matter? Remember, images don't have to be taken from eye level always... get higher or lower for cooler viewpoints...

| | | I really like these pics their awesome. I don't think that it really shows anything amateur about them. I really love the first pic alot because you have captured what the night life is all about. Beautiful shots. DS.

| | | Hey 2x, looking at #1 again, I just noticed that there's something along the left border. I don't think it's a building (can't think of what would be there), it looks like an artifact or something, but crop it out. EDIT: I looked at my pics from that night and see that it is a building. Still, crop it. [last edit 11/30/2005 3:37 AM by Noah Vale - edited 1 times]
