Yup! They made aircraft landing gear. This particular plant was set up to supply a major local defense contractor. The huge machine in the pictures is some kind of furnace. It moves back and forth on tracks over 6 other huge furnaces. The machine seems to be a kind of mobile heating element of some sort. [last edit 11/21/2005 12:53 PM by Dokk - edited 1 times]
