Ironically, moving your thread into the other section defeats the whole idea of not allowing basic members to post there in the first place. The thread will probably get deleted (like the last one did).

Ghost hunting and the paranormal aren't directly UE related - UE is about exploring, not why you explore or what you do when you're there - and such topics bring down the credibility of a site, and are also considered a nuisance to those that don't believe in "Spooky Stuff" like ghosts, goblins, gods, or Richard Simmons.
The mods are very strict on Spooky Stuff, as this topic comes up all the time.
As for moving it but not allowing you access, I think that's a bit silly. I'd be angry if someone "stole" my work like that, I'd rather it just be deleted... But many people would disagree. So after a long thought, and discussion (I assume), they voted to move the threads as it would be the best solution.

The whole ghost/ue issue is a controversial one, but the mods made their decision. I know it seems unfair, but if you keep posting UE-related stuff you'll get your full membership.
