| | | http://en.wikipedi.../wiki/Dogpatch_USA On the front page of Wikipedia today. I was wondering if anyone had seen it. An abandoned theme park is new to me, and would love to see some pictures.
No, the guy in my av isn't actually me. |

| | | Normally I try to avoid Arkansas but I might be persuaded to do this one. Barry have you Googled up the aerials yet? I'll call my buddy Bill and get some intel on this place. Arkansas the final frontier

| | | Arkansas is great compared to Mississippi. There is absolutely nothing in that state. I drove from the Southern tip to the Northern and all I saw was trees. At least Arkansas has friggin towns with names! I wonder how far this place is from Texarkana. I'm gonna be there visiting family next week.

| | | My son and I explored the whole Dog Patch park last summer on vacation. Spent about 5 hours there. It's really cool to see, but I don't know if it's worth an 8 hour trip. When we were up there I had 35mm film, not digital and I haven't scanned the pics. There are several websites that give you an idea of what it looks like now.

| | | This place has a ton of good photos and info on Dogpatch. It was kind of a cool little park. Not Disneyland, mind you, but I was there in the late 1970's and we had a great time! http://www.undergr...rks.com/index.html Underground Ozarks. Like oldtimer suggests below. I have changed my personal exploring ethics code. From now on it will be: "Take only aimed shots, leave only hobo corpses." Copper scrappers, meth heads and homeless beware. The Jonsered cometh among you, bringing fear and dread. |
