You mean like posting text and including photos on this here forum? There is a "Attach an Image" button at the bottom while you are composing. You can attach multiple images. They are limited to 100k each so you'll need to pre-process/compress them to that physical size with some Photoshop type software.

I have never been lost, but I will admit to being confused for several weeks.

Another way is by having your images off site and using the img tags

Oh great then we can use something like "Image shack".

The more things change, the more they stay the same

For those of us who are idiots who don't know html, could you explain, in very clear terms as you would a child, how one would link an image like that? You see, I'm about as smart as your average rock, or perhaps driftwood on a good day.

For those of us who are idiots who don't know html...

Feel free to ask for further elaboration on any of this, but I'll give this a shot. I use Flickr.com.

1) Upload your pictures (Flickr has good instructions for this)
2) On Flickr, select the picture you want to link to, and click the icon that says "All Sizes"
3) On top of the next screen pick what size you want the image to be in UER (usually this means "Medium" for me)
4) Copy what it says in the box, under where it says "1. Grab the photo's URL:"
5) Back on your UER posting, click the image icon at the top of your posting (the little landscape with trees and mountains and it will insert image tags, that look kind of like this: (img][/img)
6) Inbetween those tags, paste the URL you copied from Flickr, so it will look sort of like this: (img]http://static.flic...265_1e4468826c.jpg[/img)
7) Preview the message to make sure the image shows, then post.

Does that help?

Use photobucket. they give you the premade link for every picture you upload.
