| | | Any underground rivers in DFW? < on 10/14/2005 8:59 PM >
| | | Just curious, coz after reading a couple threads about underground rafting, I would really love to do that. So are there any built-over rivers or tributaries beneath DFW?

I've heard rumours of underground tributaries and whatnot around the Trinity River, but no actual confirmation.

| | | There's a creek that runs from White Rock Lake down to the Trinity through the Fair Park area that was pier and beamed over in the early 1900's but the areas I've been in are very fragmented. 50 or 60 feet of creek then drain pipe then more creek. It has water in it but not enough to float a raft in. Pretty cool, though. You walk along the creek bed and can hear people talking in buildings above.
I'm a blatant waste of time and resources. |

Well, not exactly what I'm looking for, but sounds like an awesome place to check out nonetheless.
