Explored this abandoned airfield while on vacation to Texas early October 2005. It is on I-10, although I won't post specifics on an open forum. Got some good photos, but I had an unexpected guest and had to escape and evade through the desert. I'll go back later to finish the photo shoot. Apparently it was used for agricultural purposed after it was no longer an airfield, and there is a bunch left to see.

I have changed my personal exploring ethics code. From now on it will be: "Take only aimed shots, leave only hobo corpses." Copper scrappers, meth heads and homeless beware. The Jonsered cometh among you, bringing fear and dread.
