First off, I enjoyed meeting several of you at UTEX this past Sat. I especially enjoyed the outting afterwards, thanks guys. I the photos I got didnt come out and im not schlepping that camera around again until I figure out my limitations on it. I dont know just how much I can say here as far as location and the people I was with, and not be too vague. I wont try this time. Maybe they will see this post and help out. All Ill say is it was in Ft. Worth and the view was awsome, so was the full moon and nice weather. Im always excited to see a new location and cant wait for the next outting. This was the first ive seen in Texas and know theres so much more out there. Cant wait! Finally, I got a lead on a place in south texas last nite. Tonite, I went to scout it out. I thought it was in San Antonio, but its well outside city limits in Sequin. I dont know about the "rust" comment, but it looked like a fully operational factory, Acme Brick Co. Being as I didnt want to attract too much attention to myself (I noticed people sitting outside their homes nearby), I just drove around the factory to see how close I could get. This might not be the same place tho, I didnt see anything abandoned in the area, a day time exploration is in order. I snapped a few pictures but dont know how to post them here. On a totally unrelated note, if there is anyone in the San Antonio/Austin area that would like to do some exploring, often, let me know thru email. Currently seeking a camera with a flash or an IR light for my current setup. Hope to have some real photos soon tho.
