Hi all,

I've just added details of my latest exploration to the DB. I spent some time exploring the derelict Shropshire Maltings (Ditherington Flax Mill) site in England. This site is of special historic interest as it includes the world's first iron-framed building. I've added pictures and more details in the DB:

Comments are welcome. Enjoy!

Very cool site and nice write-up, chris! sounds like a real treasure of a place. Wish i could come visit it and get some pics prior to it being museumified.

Thanks. Fortunately most of our historic industrial sites in Shropshire (and there are a lot, with it being the birthplace of the iron industry) have been nicely museumified. But I take your point; museumification is museumification nonetheless.

A hell of a lot better than neglectification or demolition! Like the pics!

Gone for a while. Be back when I'm back.
