This system runs the length of down town, North to South. We started down close to the Trinity River and according to our GPS, we were way South of Interstate 30 and South of the rail yards. Only one spot the water was deep and had to treat carefully so as not to get water in my rubber boots. Took us about 3+ hours to get through it all. Pretty interesting to see modern construction mixed with older techniques, (limestone brick work and corrugated tubes). Enjoy the pictures. Forgive the quality, as I am still learning to use the digital. Some pictures were taken by my comrades.

This was my first drain exploration and one my friend had done a few times before. Not sure if I care for drains, but will try more just to make sure. :)

Wow, that's the coolest drain I've seen in the metroplex. Lots of shape changes and those old sections looks wicked nice. Good work.

Not bad. Not bad at all. It looks a couple of the drains here, only cooler/older. Way to go.

Rest in Peace, Ninjalicious. I know that wherever you are, you're finding the best sites for us already.

drains are hard to shoot for the obvious reasons mainly distance and darkness but with a tripod and some auxillary lighting you can paint some fairly decent shots

nice find lets take a tour

Wow! I'm pretty impressed as well. The graffiti from 1901 is worth it all by its self. I might want to check this out next time I'm in the area.
