| | Great night last night! < on 8/7/2005 1:38 AM >
| | | Boy, last night me, Abandon-X and Charrellz had a full night of UE. It was great, went from 11 at night to 5 in the morning. My favorite site was a slaughterhouse in Fort Worth. The best part about it was SEing our way in. Turns out the security guard was so thankful to have someone to talk to that he told us practically the entire history of Fort Worth. I had no idea that Fort Worth was so UE rich! Just driving through we saw about 10 sites, not counting the ones we went to. I'll reply on here with my pics once I get them developed. Unfortunately I ran out of film before we got to the slaughter houses, but I've got some apartments and a movie theatre and possibly a couple drains. I'll find out when I pick up my film.
Rest in Peace, Ninjalicious. I know that wherever you are, you're finding the best sites for us already. |

| | | waitwaitwait... where was the guard? Abandon-X and I got stuck on the roof of the old Spaghetti Warehouse by what we thought was a guard (we escaped undetected though) - which is directly across from the old slaughterhouses. I don't suppose he was in a red pickup was he? <edit>I guess that's why abandon-x tried calling me at 6:15am.. I've told the fucker twice now not to call me after 1 [last edit 8/10/2005 1:54 PM by The Bean - edited 1 times]

Yep, it was that same guard. Abandon-X told me about you guys' little adventure on the roof. He's actually really nice. I think he just wants someone to talk to. We're going to try to talk him into letting us in Spaghetti Warehouse.

It was actually pretty easy. The main things we had to worry about was a skunk and a hobo.

| | | Here's the pics we took. The Swifts are Abandon-X's. The rest are mine. The pictures taken during the day are from other adventures in the same place.

Hehe, man, both of us were pretty scared during that - turned out the guard must have been on foot when we climbed down, nobody was in the truck. We were on the roof for at least 30 minutes waiting for him to leave, maybe 45. I'll have to wander back out there sometime soon and talk to the guy - if nothing else, even if he doesn't let me do any exploring, at least I'd get a good history lesson from him. That's gotta be one hell of a boring site to guard too.

Here ya go.
The smokestack opens into an air handler that's around 5 feet tall.
I'm a blatant waste of time and resources. |

| | | Isnt that Parkland here in Dallas and not the slaughter houses? BTW, the power to parkland seems to have been pumped up recently because there is a definte humming that was not present a few months ago and there is that Ozone smell that accompanies high voltage. Just a fyi.
Some of us do this to escape our jobs, some of us do this wishing it was our job. I some how figured out how to make this my career. |

Yup. I had to go by to do some damage control and replace a piece of window covering one of our members broke in half to gain access. Remember Kiddies, Always tidy up when you leave... I didn't notice the ozone but the lights were pretty bright.
