This will especially be true if you sharpened things or added lines, or if you saved it in a higher JPEG-quality than before. Check that the size is less than 100 kb. Lots of different colors and sharpness = 600x450 at 60% JPEG quality will probably hit around 100k using the above method. I do most of my "web" photos at 600x450 and they're frequently 150kb and higher at 80% quality... Licentious acrimonious puer æternus. Libertine.
