Moved here two years ago from along the Texas / Mexico border and was wondering if there is anyone in the San Antonio vivinity that shares an interest in urban exploration or that can recommend any good locations to check out.

I'm from SA, but I live in Canada now, so I'm not too into the scene there anymore. But when I was in high school, there was there really awesome place on the southside, around but just past the mission district. There's this rail road track that's haunted by some kids who died there in a bus crash. Just past that, along the same road, there's an old prison insane asylum. Really crazy. We were all too scared to go in there in high school. You'd swear you heard wails.

I'll be in town next week from the 7th to the 10th if you want to go hit up some place.

Been to that place a few times. It's actually an old folks home. Awesome place , though.
Drop me a line if you want to get together.

Yes...Good memory! It was Dennys at Austin.
Been doing good. Looking around. Fewer and fewer new places in SA, but the ones that are still here are pretty amazing.
Do you do any UE where you are?

A few more shots of Devil's Den. I had nothing going on yesterday... This was a solo mission, and my battery died soon into it. I jumped and grabbed the top of the tank, pulled up, and put one boot over when I realized how stupid I was being. Had I fallen in, there was no way out. So, I got down on my stomach to take the pictures. The shot straight down turned out really bad, so I bought a new digital camera, a Nikon Coolpix S1 for time.

Anyone attempting to climb on the silo should have as a minimum 1. a partner on the ground 2. at least 50ft of rope 3. gloves. Perhaps a good future project for explorers is to install a rope/ladder/other climbing mechanism in case someone falls in. You know the authorities' answer to the problem. Seal it up and arrest trespassers.

Also, keep in mind that the road off of Ingram is in very poor condition, and cars may bottom out if they go too fast. There is broken glass and rusty metal in parts as well.

This was a good first run, but I would like more things to climb on, and a spookier atmosphere.
