Considering the other entrance sounds a little more daring, and maybe even a little more unsafe (I distinctly remember Cross saying that half the tunnel--which would be the back half where they aren't bricking it up, is flooded and whatnot). I can't see it lasting long though. The tunnel is in a fairly remote area and unless they have some sort of posted watch there, the door will be torn off eventually by some hooligan.
