|  | | | Hey, I'm Guilty, and I'm I guess what would be considered a newbie to this sport. I've done some fucking around in a few places, a little bit of exploring and what not, but I didn't know about UE, and I didn't know that it was such an involving sport. I'm a martial artists and a rock climber, so I'm fairly confident of my abilities, and I'm interested in persuing UE more in depth. Most of my explorations have focused mainly on buildering (which in the rock climbing world is simply bouldering on buildings) which have lead me to some pretty strange sites in the northern california area, where I've explored but never in depth.
What I basically want to know, is any tips that you can give a guy who's just starting out? I'd tell you what I already know, but I really want to know everything, and verify everything, so I'd like to hear it all over again so I won't miss anything. Pretend that I know absolutely nothing about this, and please give me as much advice as you can.

| | | | Go read the tutuorials and ethics pages on infiltration.org for good hints and tips. Everything else you need to know can be learned by doing one of two things, perferably both.
1) Read EVERY thread on the board, specifically the ones in this section.
2) Go out and explore. Real-world training is a hundred times more valuable than read hints and word-of-mouth information.

| | | | hey im new here and just getting in to this so yea i havent really done anything daring. yet. me and my friends tho, we did find something that got us into this. well if you live in uptown vancouver, kits, kerrisdale,ect you probably know arbutus village. its that big glass pyramid thingy and yea if you go upstares they have these doors that say: Warning Do Not Enter, Alarm Will Sound. well we went in one and no alarm went off so we kept going and there were all these other doors that said: Authorized Personel Only, and stuff like that so yea we messed around ther for a while...i guess i doesn't really count but oh well. it was sorta fun because theres all these footsteps echoing and you dont know where there coming from

| | | | Hey whats up. I'm no expert, but I think a good tip is to scout places out well before you enter them. Look at satellite images and road maps, know where you are, where to park, if security patrols and alternative ways in/out. Once your in, watch your step and don't do anything too crazy 8]

Don't make blatant assumptions about what other people know. 
As for the rest, buildering is one of the best forms of training for this activity. I've only gone on one mission with the Wraiths, but it being a prison, there was some hardcore fence-climbing. (the chainlink topped with concertina wire was a relaxing walk in the park compared to the inner fence)
wraiths.org has many good writeup of the sites they've infiltrated (some live), and check out infiltration.org as well, Ninjalicious has a lot of good writeups of places he's been.
