That Star Wars song kicks ass. I think I actually have the CD it was from.

Sometimes, you need to march right in and demand your rights, even if you don't know what your rights are, or who it is you're talking to. Then, on your way out, slam the door.

It will be nice to not have to fight some new decoration each day and for those of us with older PC's have to wait for the damn page to load and sometimes it just times out.

Yeah, it's gotta be just crawling on that G5. Jackass.

The G5 is not connected to the internet, it is strictly a work machine now. My stupid modem router is fucked up and will not communicate through it's ethernet ports now, only way I can get it to work is through the USB connection, which doesn't work on the Mac. So I only surf the web anymore on the PC.

I vote for a Mr. Peanut or Gary Coleman replacement for the snowman after the christmas season.

Boo. If you've got XP, or even 98 I think, you should be able to get some internet sharing going on, and get your G5 online with an ethernet cord to the PC.

You cannot be serious. The sad part is the fact that I watched them.

It would totally complete the UER forum.

Edit: doin' the Mashed Potata or the Emm-Jay with Mr Peanut. My life is complete.

Do new macs still come with that candy-ass Appletalk port? I have an Appletalk to Ethernet adapter around here somewhere.

Or you could go dumpster dive a hub, college kids should be throwing a lot of old shit out the week after christmas break

Turn off the internet and go play outside.

Naw the G5 just has ethernet and telephone. I am just going to switch over to cable and get a hub, I'm tired of the many problems with DSL.

Haha, I know. Are you using Qwest dsl with MSN I'm assuming? ... I've had my problems with them too... After spending the good part of a day yesterday, I reflashed my actiontec 1000 msn modem to it's original much better firmware, which means I can now open ports for servers and just use the modem as a router too instead of having to use a seperate one. I don't blame you for switching to cable, esp. for the speed too.

Haha, Appletalk, the last time those have been seen would have been in pre-iMac G3's which is something like 6-7 years ago. Not that I don't have a couple of those adaptors/maintained one of those phone line based localtalk networks...

Huh, is this a Christmas thread or something??? Uh, Merry Christmas everybody! Especially Av, you grumpy bastard. And Mac users.
