Oh as a little sidenote here, I finally did find information on that house where I encountered the "freakos". The place burned down to the ground (I know big surprise considering the Satanic bonfires right?) I was hugely disappointed because I felt I needed to go back there to quell my fears. But I finally did a nice exploration this weekend, even got one DB entry out of it, so it all worked out in the end. But if I see a bunch of weirdos in black cloaks again headed straight for me, Im runnin!

I will go back to the area.. at night, alone, infact ill try to go ther tonight at 12:00, and take pictures and see what happens.
It sounded very much like a big foot scream, of if you seen the movie mothman or heard the reports, sounds like that to.
Here is another weird thing. the dream i had as a kid, was about me seeing some type of bigfoot in a natural tunnel on the hill at this forest. Dont ask me why, but its in my memory. the dream wasnt scary or nothing, but still i saw a bigfoot in that location.
Lots of other weird paranormal events occured here but i wont talk about them.
at first we thought it was a bigfoot, but the sounds sounded like it was from the air, and it was moving in the air, and we also heard something like weird wings.
I dunno what it was, but it was weird. Especially the natural barrier that formed aruond the spot i was digging. I dont know what was up with that either, but it was a perfect circle of big branches say 2-4 feet, and my shovel was a part of the circle, weird paranormal story!
Another side note, my friend and i came to the conclusion that the forest or treasure was magically guarded perhaps, and the circle was a barrier. Other weird things i wont mention (because it will get out of line) was that the forest was protecting something and ther could have been a mages house i was diggin up. Circa 1950s, the last mages to live.
Oh no, now you got me psyched up to actually walk into this damned forest alone, im gona try to go all the way in or something, it will scare the **** outa me, but ill have a cool story to tell people, maybe ill try to get the creature mad and scream ill cath the sound on my digi cam hopefully,

Sounds good man! I posted in your other thread about this and am definitely very interested about this place, looking forward to hearing more. I know you mention "the other weird things you wont mention" and "the other paranormal events" , I understand ya dont wanna post them here cause they really dont fit into the topics of UE, but Im really interested even more now. If you can drop me a PM or an email it would be cool, cause id love to here these other stories about these woods.
Ive heard reports about the mothman, but have never seen the movie, but I get what your saying. Definitely sounds like one hell of an experience man, and youve definitely got some guts to go back there tonight, Im glad i could get ya psyched up to go check the place out again haha. Im really into bigfoot and stuff like that so when i saw your post it really intrigued me. That dream that ya had too sounds pretty cool.

Not to be a pain, but I have never seen you post a picture here. I am not going to be mean to you, I like your stories and posts. But I find it odd that you never seem to have a camera with you when anything happens...

i wanted to post the photos but i think my thread got closed, or I cant access it for some reason. i guess it was stupid to post that, especially when i went back and nothing was ther, except a big racoon. the pictures are really nothing special and really lame, just some weird tracks that i think are deer tracks.
i just sucked out all the fear out of my first experience, i was ther early when waited past midnight. in winter its not dark at all with lotsa snow, and the whole forest is empty right, leaves gone etc.
still the sound and experience was real plus, we heard wings and it really sounded getting louder thru the air, and closer to us.
i also looked for snow prints, around possible cave sites, or a place for such a creature. nothing. the whole forest, no big tracks, only small animals and a possible deer. maybe its hibernating or something, or just flew by one night into that forest and left, like stories of the real moth man.. HHmmm

Same here, I don't have a clue what caused this. First is no flash, then flas. On a tripod in the summer 90 degrees no smoking.
And for those who can view it this pic taken about a week ago.

For those that can't.
 No dust, camera jitter or somebody moving around with a light. This was shot in a old dye factory with no flash, 2 second exp.

yes. three times in one day, at hudson. once in the rec building, once in the machine shop, and somewhere else but i can't remember where it was. yes it sucked.
scary things....
going into an old mill we'd been in a hundred times, and laughing because there was obviously someone else in there with us who as doing their damndest to avoid us. we'd walk into rooms in time to see a window surreptitiously sliding closed etc. it was all great fun till we found a scattered bunch of bridal pictures all over the floor, next to a big bloodstain.
suddenly the person in there with us wasn't quite so amusing anymore. that find officially ended the trip.
and we had a weird weird experience at belchertown. we were in the big medical building, up on one of the top floors, and we found a very weird structure. it's going to sound so cheezy but it looked exactly like one of those hollywood type sacrificial alters. big box/table constructed in the middle of the floor. we were trying to figure out what in the world it could have been used for, when one of us, further down the hall, found a door with a colorful, painted sign on it. it had someones name on it, i can't remember what the name was, and it definitely looked like something a kid would have done. all the other rooms doors were completely bland and featureless. we decided to check out whatsisnames room. none of the doors up there were locked, they all opened right up, but this one was stuck good. took all three of us to pull it open, and when it did there was this incredible outpouring of freezing cold wind. not surprising as it was winter, but upon closer inspection the window in the room was intact and closed. where did this ice cold wind come from?
weird. we left the room, leaving the door standing open, along with all the other doors we'd opened along the ward. at the end of the hall i turned around to get a picture of the corridor with all the doors opened out into it. just as i was about to take the picture, the door with the sign on it slammed shut. startling to say the least. we more or less dared each other to go back and open it, nobody was real keen on it..while we were standing there being idiots another door slammed shut. and then another. at which point i was all done with the medical building.
one of my group wanted to go up another floor, he was outvoted by the rest of us, who suddenly felt like the place had become extremely menacing.
i can honestly say, the urge to get the hell out of there was extremely powerful. it wasn't just "this is weird, lets go somewhere else" but "we have to leave NOW!"
