But when it comes to a big UrbEx meet in Ohio starting it off nice and slow is a great way to build up your motivation. So under a bright blue sky and after a failed start I headed out to the outskirts. I don't often strike out solo especially down in the US, but the first day of the meet I was going to locations I had been to before so I felt much better and safer going alone, none of the locations were particularly dangerous or high-risk.

The fun part is that even if you're skulking around the place no one will even pay any attention to you. I even waved at some of the locations neighbors.

The location is a medium sized burnt out factory, very "Silent Hill" in the burnt out sections, plenty of stuff left over to see, and in the upper floors of a stable area features a beautiful selection of graffiti tags.

A great way to kick off a meet, a visit to a familiar friend that many people sluff off as being boring. But sometimes revisiting a place but solo helps focus your mind for the rest of the meet. Getting that Zen going.
