16 is usually referred to as a "disco" I think. You can see one in operation here:
In Korea, they're controlled by a power-hungry operator who will try to swirl it around and single out individual riders, sometimes trying to flip up girls' skirts (in a playful way) and talking shit about riders over the PA. Usually they're one of the highlights of Korean amusement parks just because of how much personality is overflowing in them, and the people riding provide entertainment for the people lined up waiting to get on. And they also have a weird backdrop of out-of-date American pop culture icons.

You can see it in this irritating K-pop music video that was filmed at the same location.
That's probably my least unfavourite K-pop music video based solely on the location, though the property owner told me they stiffed him on the rental fee.
Oh, and also, this ride features in the video.
I'm releasing an article soon about this location and how it's inspired Korean pop culture.

Blame my fat-ass cats. I do try never to let them run out of dry food, but I guess this was a longer day than I remembered. They probably finished the last of it right before I arrived home, at which point I dumped out a can of Korean cat food for them, which honestly makes western cat food look like slurry. Seriously, Korean and Japanese cats have access to amazing cat food.
