Enlighten me, I'm interested in the individual reasons everyone here likes to do it. Tell me a little bit about how you got into it, what kinds of places are your favorite, what you like to look for while you're exploring, and what you take away from your experience (physically, mentally, spiritually)?

In all reality, I am absolutely fascinated with knowing what is on the other side of the curtain. What other hobby can you run freely through a nuclear power plant, have lunch in a morgue, or poke around a 100 year old textile mill? It is every curious mind's dream, IMO.
The Durango '95 purred away a real horrowshow - a nice, warm vibraty feeling all through your guttiwuts. And soon it was trees and dark, my brothers, with real country dark. |

1. I have an attraction to the rust and decay and peeling paint, to the wear and tear and weathering of objects that happens with time.
2. I have a slightly fantastical attraction to the idea of secret hidden worlds that are just beyond the thin veil in our every day existence that go unseen by millions.
There's a combination of the thrill of the risk and the thrill of the discovery. For me it's more about the discovery.

No seriously I love the atmosphere in thoses places, i've spent hours and hours in the most boring places, I just love being there. There is the risk factor, thinking we may get caught add to the thrill, the fact that being there is prohibed just make it funnier I think! Also, we get kickass photo's out of thoses places!
