One Of My First Explorations

One of the first buildings I've ever explored. This place was destroyed beyond any recognition. but I think it still had good photo opportunities. This was before I started filming. So I used my phone. I think it was a pretty cool place considering. It's funny how hard the owners tried to keep it locked down, and in the end somebody just cut through the fence, with easy access. 1.

Interior's pretty well gone, but might be worth hitting at sunrise or sunset with some strong colors and see what you can get.

Yeah, I def would, considering this place looks directly out to water and open hills, it could really make for some good sunset photography. Carquinez Strait always makes for great photography. This was back at the beginning of the summer when I started Urbex.

Thanks to a tip from P.F, I visited this location a couple of weeks ago. Nice old structure from the outside but as P.F's photos show the inside is pretty thrashed.

From the outside just after sunrise...

There's a smaller secondary building that's a little less thrashed

Damn that's a good shot of sunrise. The sunset would probably look really good there because the sun sets just beyond those hills. I didn't get the chance to go into the smaller one because some dude started circling the property so we only go the chance to do the primary. The inside was done for, but still interesting. I'm still trying to figure out exactly what this building was.

That's pretty cool you found this place. Great sets from both of you. I'm amazed you didn't get caught someone. Given that the "neighbor" has their own security force.

I'll have to dig through my old pics and see if I have anything wort posting. I've been out there three times, but it was when I was just getting into night photography. So I don't know if I have any that are worth while, and as you all have noted; this place is burned out and trashed on the inside. Not very photogenic. If I don't have anything good. Maybe it warrants another visit.
