New to Forum.

Hey guys, I'm an Urban Explorer / Filmmaker. I usually make scripted video's, such as short films. But since last year I've really gotten into Urban Exploration, I thought that I'd just combine the two and make a kickass web show. It's not really gonna be like what you normally see when you look up Urbex on the internet, it's gonna give the viewer an awesome experience just to watch. Interactive with the viewer, intense and exciting, informative, all that good stuff. More of the kinda stuff you see on TV is what I'm going for, except actually good. I'm kinda new to the crowd, but it's just awesome to be able to work with people who actually have the sense of adventure that I have. I'm from the Bay Area (East Bay), and have explored a lot of stuff in my area, stuff that I thought I'd never get to see I've seen, and the feeling is just awesome. Now I'm starting to get into more of the big time stuff and stretching my limits more. Filming this and everything is gonna make for an awesome and exciting series. My friend told me to join UER just recently, so I did. Before this I was just talking to people wherever I could, but it's cool to be able to actually talk on a site specifically for Urban Exploration, so thank you.

Looking forward to chatting with some of you.

Looking forward to all this.

Small world. Welcome to UER. We've met and exchanged messages through Flickr recently. I think you'll find lots of interesting people and locations through this site. Next time there's a meetup (a few times per year) you should come along.

Welcome Jaeger! You've got an interesting future in front of you if you pursue the video/UE combination thoroughly. You could easily travel the world doing this, finding many friends along the way if you can figure out a way to support yourself. The exploration community is relatively welcoming in my experience. I met a guy on here from Tennessee, went exploring with him locally, PM'd a few times, then happened to be in Memphis, and we went exploring in Memphis without a second thought. I just took those french folks all over the place and had never even met them. If I go to France, I've now got friends who'll put me up and take me out on explores.

It has been fun working with you thus far. I've been impressed with how you've handled the hairy situations we been in. It's not easy to shoot video under these circumstances as well as deal with all the other stuff going on as we've both found out. Shoot, sometimes it's not easy for me to even get good photographs.
You'll have a great time if you go out with any of the folks who've responded to this thread already.
